Leadership and Management for Nonprofit Professionals

The Leadership and Management for Nonprofit Professionals (LMNP) is an online fellowship program for young professionals and emerging leaders in nonprofit organizations. This fellowship program is designed to prepare nonprofit professionals in taking on leadership roles that will enable them to effectively forward their organizations’ causes.

Cohort 2 of the fellowship program is ongoing.

Course Overview

The fellowship program is composed of five (5) modules, covering topics on leadership, organizational development, program and financial management, and ethics. Each module will be discussed for 1-2 months by an expert or practitioner in the field. Synchronous classes will be once a week for two (2) to three (3) hours each. Asynchronous activities may also be given to further enrich and apply their learning. Apart from the usual modules, other opportunities such as exclusive roundtable discussions with exemplary leaders and practitioners in the nonprofit sector will also be offered to the participants.

Participants are expected to attend and actively participate in the sessions, and comply with the outputs on time in order to graduate from the program and earn units in De La Salle Araneta University. The fellowship program is expected to run from May 2022 to October 2022. 

Learning Objectives

  1. The program aims to develop and equip them with knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) in certain areas of leadership, management, and organizational development.
  2. Equip and prepare junior-level nonprofit professionals in leading and managing organizations.
  3. Create a network of nonprofit leaders who will learn to collaborate and work together to solve societal problems.

Target Participants

  • Young professionals and emerging leaders in nonprofit organization.

Qualifications

  • Be currently employed in a junior-level position in a non-profit organization based in the Philippines.
  • Have at least two (2) years of working experience in the non-profit sector.

Presently, he is the Lead Convenor of Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership and also the Program Manager of the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation.
