Harvey Sy Keh is the Vice-President of McBride PET Corporation, one of the country’s leading manufacturers of PET bottles. He is a social entrepreneur having started and established several non-profit organizations in the Philippines that promote access to quality education and good governance. He was founder and Executive Director of the Acts of Hope for the Nation (AHON Foundation) which helped build more than 150 public elementary school libraries all over the Philippines. Harvey was also an inaugural fellow of the Asian Institute of Management’s Team Energy Center for Bridging Societal Divides.
In 2002, he co-founded Pathways to Higher Education-Philippines, a Ford Foundation funded initiative that helps provide an opportunity for academically-gifted but financially-disadvantaged public high school students gain access to quality higher education. He also served as Director for Youth Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship at the Ateneo de Manila University’s School of Government and as Acting Executive Director of the Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc.
In 2006, Harvey was chosen by the Asia Society, an international organization based in New York as one of the Young Leaders of Asia through its Asia 21 Young Leaders Program. He was awarded as one of the 2010 The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) of the Philippines in the fields of Education and Good Governance and was also one of the awardees of the Devex Manila 40 under 40 International Development Leaders in 2013.
Presently, he is the Lead Convenor of Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership and also the Program Manager of the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation.
